I have had the pleasure to work with Kyla over the past few years
in a leadership position in the natural products industry in Boulder,
and I highly recommend her.
From my experience working with Kyla, she is a natural leader
and an action-oriented individual. In our work together on the
board of the Naturally Boulder Task Force, she has demonstrated
great initiative, reliability and leadership in accomplishing
the goals of the task force.
The Naturally Boulder Task Force is an economic development initiative
established by the City of Boulder to promote the growth of natural,
organic and sustainable products businesses in the region, mentor
small businesses, attract natural businesses to the area, and
promote Boulder as “the Silicon Valley” of the natural
and organic products industry.
In her work on the board, Kyla has organized monthly networking
events that have been very well attended and organized, bringing
business leaders together on a regular basis. She has also been
an essential part of the team organizing and producing a large-scale
business conference for entrepreneurs, Naturally Boulder Day,
scheduled for Oct. 20, 2006, and drawing more than 300 business
members from the region and throughout the country. As producer
of this event, I have been able to rely on Kyla to accomplish
important tasks related to the event.
Additionally, as a young entrepreneur, Kyla has successfully
launched, and subsequently sold at a profit, an organic food business
serving the needs of gluten-intolerant individuals with her line
of wheat-free cookies and snacks. She has actively sought the
advice of key individuals in the natural products market, and
as she continues to work with the company she founded, she continues
to grow sales and open new channels of distribution for her products.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Kyla. As a business leader
for more than 20 years in the natural products market, I am confident
that Kyla is one of the next generation of business leaders. You
